"Unsure About Resume" is Common Complaint Among Job Seekers - so ITS Introduces Free Solution
"I don't know if my resume is presenting me as strongly as it could. I'm not sure what to add, or take out. It doesn't set me apart as much as I'd like it to." This or a similar complaint is heard many times by ITS in the course of a day.
Thousands of job seekers visit our websites each month, many of them to take advantage of the free services they can get there, including a free resume analysis and a comparison of how they stack up to their competition in more than 200 different characteristics. In the course of helping them, ITS routinely asks them what their biggest complaints are about job seeking in general.
"We are introducing the free resume analysis, along with other free services, precisely because we recognize there is a great need among job seekers to have professional feedback on their resume and their marketability," maintains Larry Feifer, Vice President of ITS. "Only a small percentage will become clients, so we're providing a lot of valuable free advice. That's okay. We're happy to do it, if we can make people's job search any easier."
Feifer says most job seekers don't understand how to compose and send effective electronic resumes. Neither do they appreciate how important it is for the reader to get a firm grasp in 15 seconds of where and how they can contribute, with a summary that shows they are a cut above the average applicant for the job. "The buzzwords are also important, but you can't overdo them," he noted. "Achievements count most!"
ITS services address all of these issues for clients we serve.
